Google Voice Search Enters Delhi; Find Local Information using any Phone

After running a pilot project in Hyderabad for some six months, Google India has now introduced phone search in Delhi.

So if you are based in the NCR region, you can call Google’s toll-free number from any landline or mobile phone and perform a search using your voice.

Google will either read out the contact details for you over the phone or you can have them as an SMS message and that is a free service as well.

Google Phone Search - This service is currently available in English, Hindi and Telugu. Give it a shot and do share your first experience in the comments.

The phone number is 1-800-41-999-999 - same as Hyderabad - and should work with any phone with a Delhi number or of adjoining cities like Gurgoan, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, etc.
